KINGS HEATH WON BY 9 WICKETS

Much to the surprise of the Kings Heath side, Five Ways started off their innings and tried to attack every ball. Aman Khan, opening the bowling, conceded 20 runs from his first two overs, and Nabeel was also initially expensive. However when the initial breakthrough came, wickets continued to tumble at an astonishing rate; Aman did not concede another run, bowling three consecutive maidens and taking four wickets in the process. Nabeel collected two wickets, with Sean and Abbas taking one each. By the fall of the final wicket Five Ways had scored 76 runs in only 12 overs, going at a rate of more than six runs per over. Kings Heath were determined to prove a point, and surged past the Five Ways total in only 8.1 overs at 9.43 runs an over, Rizwan scoring 50 not out from only 30 deliveries. Stand in number three Adam Badger finished unbeaten on 10. Masood was the only wicket to fall, to a controversial lbw decision, in an otherwise comfortable victory.
