Club Scorer – Volunteer Vacancy To accurately record the scoring of cricket fixtures for matches Approximate time commitment: Saturday and / or Sunday afternoons and / or Wednesday evenings throughout summer months (May to September) Useful skills: Basic understanding of the game, Basic maths and written skills, Focussed, Reliable, Good communicator. Playing experience beneficial but not compulsory Job description: To accurately record statistics on a ball to ball basis, To calculate the overall scores for the teams and individual batsman and bowlers, Communicate effectively with the umpire Payment: Travel expenses paid, free tea will be provided. Payment at captains’ discretion, in the region of £5-10 for an afternoon match (dependant on experience and accuracy of scoring).
