Event update - Rigs, Race Night, Training

---- Published by John Pemberton

A quick update on events and all other things. First of all a quick mention for Phil Jefferies innings that defied belief and you cannot state enough superlatives! 157 not out from 77 balls and hit the ball cleaner than has ever been seen before! I do beleive without the Rigs fitness sessions Phil may not have had the strenght for the 17 maximums! For those who has Phil in their fantasy team as Captain (Phil did not!) you will be riding high! The challange is now set!

With that in mind the next in the installments of the Rigs fitness sessions is this Wednesday evening 8-9pm. I have selected most people so please confirm and make a big effort to get down.

Race Night update:
1. The props have arrrived! We have 6 hobbie horses, 2 big sponge dice and more raffle tickets that you can imagine
2. There are only a few horses left to train at £10 each so see me quick to get the last few
3. Most players have been gioven there 3 tickets to sell. Please get the money t your respective captains ASAP. Also if you have not been given your three tickets you will soon so please have your £45 ready (£15 per ticket)

Well gents May is going to be the big month for pushing the Race Night forward so I make no apologies for the following that will happen:
1. I and the team capatains will be badgering you for the £45 for the three tickets
2. We will asking you to sell more if you can
3. I will be asking you to trian the final horses for £10
4. I will be asking for help on the night for things such as door managemnt, raffle ticket collecting etc.

Vishi Jeet update:
Vishi has been here a week now and is settling in well. A true glimpse of the boys talent was witnessed yesterday with a final three over spell that had loop, dip and ripping turn, quite simply unplayable. Vishi also made 50 playing quality cricket shots all round the park.
