Kings Heath Easter Coaching Days
Junior Coaching Days
Tuesdays: 3rd & 10th April 2012
9.30am to 4.30pm
Coaching Days
Kings Heath Cricket Club are running two coaching days during the Easter holiday for all boys and girls aged between 8-14 years. The days provide opportunity for all players to gain valuable experience.
We are able to cater for all abilities within the prescribed age ranges; there are a number of qualified club coaches in attendance on both days. We will have at least two UKCC Level 2 coaches and two UKCC Level 1 coaches in attendance, plus several of our older junior players who have completed their ECB Young Leaders Award.
For the younger players
We will be coaching a number of different technical skills (batting, bowling and fielding) and incorporating these newly learnt skills in fun, competitive match situations. Players will also learn umpiring signals and have the opportunity to practice this during the games.
For the older players
The format is a four-innings match which enables all players to bat, bowl and field in a competitive match situation. Everyone will get the opportunity to learn how to umpire and score during the game. Technical and tactical coaching is provided throughout the day.
