The under 11 girls reached the final of the Regional Softball tournament played at Moseley Cricket Club on 1 August 2011.
The tournament involved teams from Worcester, Stafford, Shropshire as well as Walmley ( Warwickshire).
The games were 12 overs pairs cricket-with each pair having 3 overs. We won 2 of our 4 round robin games to reach the semi finals. We then played a very competitive Walmley side to reach the finals . We lost by 11 runs in the final to Meir Heath from Staffordshire.
Thanks To Bernie, Graham, Jo, the parents, brothers and sisters, the coaches and Hannah for their support on a long hot day .
Well done to Faye, Naimh, Georgia Isobel, Becky, Jodie, Clemency, Beth and Layla for their impressive performances.
